Three new coronavirus cases reported in Muscatine County

There have been three new cases of coronavirus reported in Muscatine County, for a total of 13.

Iowa officials reported 88 additional positive cases of Covid-19 Monday, with the count climbing to 424, Muscatine Mayor Diana Broderson said in a Facebook post.

“Please join me in continuing to pray about this situation and those affected,” she wrote. “I urge all of you to please take this situation seriously and follow the recommendations so that we can put this behind us as quickly as possible with fewer cases and less stress on our health care system. Please stay home if you can!”

In Iowa, there are currently 51 coronavirus patients hospitalized, 23 discharged and recovering, 203 patients never hospitalized and six deaths.

A total of 6,162 tests for COVID-19 have returned negative.
