Muscatine County reports one more coronavirus death for total of nine

Muscatine County added 10 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday and reported one additional COVID-19 death, for a total of nine.

So far, 1,068 tests have been performed in the county, with a total of 329 positives. Of those patients, 141 have recovered.

Statewide, health officials reported 467 additional positive cases Wednesday for a total of 6,843. Of those, 2,428 have recovered. There were 12 additional deaths reported for a total of 148. In all, 41,337 tests have been performed.

“Please join me in praying for the families of those who lost loved ones and those that are sick,” Muscatine Mayor Diana Broderson said in a Facebook post. “Make good choices and urge others to do the same—stay safe Muscatine!”
