In honor of National EMS week and in a show of solidarity during the COVID-19 era, two of University of Iowa Hospital AirCare helicopters will fly in formation throughout communities in eastern Iowa on Tuesday, May 19.

The flyover is scheduled to visit UnityPoint Health-Trinity Muscatine between 9:30 and 9:35 a.m.

Community members are invited to show their support for EMS and other frontline healthcare workers by waving to the pilots and crews as they fly overhead. The public is encouraged to continue practicing safe social distancing guidelines during this flyover event.

The hospital would love to see photos and video of families and individuals waving at the AirCare helicopters. Include them in a comment on this Facebook Event or submit them following this link: https://bit.ly/2Am7CZs. The public is welcome to tag @uihealthcare in posts made on social media.

If the flyover is delayed by inclement weather, it will be held on Wednesday, May 20.
