Trinity Muscatine Public Health awarded $900,000 ‘Fueling the Future’ grant

Trinity Muscatine Public Health recently received a $900,000 grant for the collaborative Fueling the Future program.

Fueling the Future is a multi-stepped pilot program to provide stabilization of emergent family issues; education for the custodial adults in high demand jobs; long-term advancement of skilled workers in the community; and a stronger next-generation Iowa workforce.

Collaborative partners include the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine, Muscatine Community College, the City of Muscatine, Muscatine Center for Social Action, United Way of Muscatine, Aligned Impact Muscatine, and Trinity Muscatine Public Health.

This program will serve 144 families from Muscatine County in the next three years.
