Thursday evening brings a pair of local teams as Louisa Muscatine travels to Durant in the first round of the IHSAA playoffs. A pair of dynamic runners lead these teams into the matchup.
Durant comes in at (3-3) led by sophomore running back Nolan DeLong. DeLong leads the team with 1159 yds and 15 tds on the ground. He is coming off a signature game last week. The running back accounted for over 300 total yds and 4 tds.
L&M finished the season (1-6) and are led by senior running back Emmanuel Walker. He finished the season with 381 yds and 2 tds on the ground. Walker comes off a solid game last week running for 183 yds and a touchdown.
