Community shows support and says thank you in new video

The Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine, and area businesses have put together an uplifting thank you video for our healthcare workers. The video compiles short messages from a variety of Muscatine area businesses and organizations.

“We are all working differently as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and our healthcare workers have been doing everything they can right now to be there for us,” stated Erik Reader, President and CEO of the Chamber. “So, we wanted to tell them thank you and let them know that we are thinking of them this holiday season.”

The chamber also encourages other businesses and individuals to continue to submit their videos and express their gratitude. In addition, the Chamber has a campaign to raise funds to purchase healthcare employees Chamber Dollars underway. “Chamber Dollars can be used at chamber member businesses and helps to support our local economy. The hope is that this token of our appreciation can spread happiness even further throughout the community during what has been a really trying year,” Reader notes.

You may donate to purchase Chamber Dollars for healthcare employees on the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine’s website.

The Chamber and Community Foundation will continue to recevie and distribute thank yous and donations will continue to be received and distributed throughout the holiday season to show support for Muscatine healthcare workers.
