Grandview closed to traffic between Oregon and Main starting Tuesday

Grandview Avenue will be closed to all traffic from Oregon to Main starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday (May 25) according to Department of Public Works officials. The closure necessary to install a sanitary sewer from the west to the east side of the road. The closure is expected to last two days.

The Oregon and Grandview intersection will remain open to traffic. Eastbound traffic on Grandview will be diverted onto Warren Street and then onto Liberty Street.

The westbound lanes of Grandview Avenue from Main Street to just west of Musser are currently closed to traffic as underground sewer work is being accomplished. Once the sewer work and installation of a new water main has been completed, work will begin to restore the pavement for the westbound lanes. That is tentatively scheduled to begin in August.
