Hot and sunny weekend on the way

A hot and sunny weekend is in store for the region, with temperatures reaching close to 90 for many, according to the Quad Cities National Weather Service office.

A few passing clouds will be seen, especially later in the weekend, with the next chance of rain not until Monday afternoon.

Stay hydrated and cool through the weekend. And the weather office is right, some lemonade might just hit the spot!
