Nine members of the Muscatine High School softball team have earned All-Mississippi Athletic Conference honors for their performance in the 2021 season.
Outfielder Rylie Moss, utility player Becca Haag, and pitchers Maura Chalupa and Bree Seaman were named to the first team.
First baseman Avarie Eagle and outfielder Olivia Harmon were second team selections, while Kaylynn Saylars, Aricka Ramser and Karly Ricketts were honorable mentions.
The Muskies, who spent much of the season ranked number one in the state, finished the year with a 35-4 record, a second place finish in the MAC and were the Class 5A Region 8 runners-up.
Conference champion Davenport Assumption’s Anna Wohlers was named MAC Player of the Year and Ron Ferrill was tabbed MAC Coach of the Year.
