A section of Douglas Avenue will be closed to traffic starting Friday, September 24, for replacement of the bridge over Big Slough along with a grading project.
The closure will be northeast of Nichols from 1673 Douglas Avenue to 160th Street. Traffic will detour around the closure using Davis Avenue and 160th Street.
Construction is anticipated to take 3-4 months, depending on the weather.
