COVID-19 vaccination clinic to be held at Musserville UMC on Thursday

Expanding vaccine availability to local places of interest makes getting the vaccine easier for members of the community, and the United Way of Muscatine is working with Muscatine County Public Health to ensure the vaccine is available to all.

A COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be held from 3-6 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 21) at the Musserville United Methodist Church, at 1001 Oregon Street, Muscatine. Volunteers from the United Way of Muscatine will be assisting Muscatine County Public Health staff to help the clinic run smoothly.

Dinner will be provided by Izalco. Those receiving their first COVID-19 vaccination will receive a $25 gift card. Transportation is available and those that need a ride can contact Nichole Sorgenfrey at the United Way of Muscatine by calling 563-263-5963.

Vaccines are free and anyone can walk-in to receive a vaccination.  Pfizer and Moderna will all be available at the clinic.  Insurance is not needed but please bring your identification (ID) with you.  Minors (ages 12-17) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

For questions about the clinic or the vaccine, please contact Muscatine County Public Health at 563-263-0122.
