Bark leads Muscatine mayor’s race as incumbents struggle


Incumbents are having a hard time as just a few precincts are left to report their results from the 2021 City and School Election in Muscatine.

With 12 of 14 locations and absentees having been counted as of 8:45 p.m., Brad Bark had 1,834 votes (53.85%) to incumbent Diana Broderson with 1,236 (35.29%). James Edgmond was third with 258 (7.57%) and Chad Bishop with 76 (2.23%), according to unofficial results from the Muscatine County Auditor.
