Mother Nature provided a window of opportunity for work on the Grandview Avenue Corridor Project in Monday as Heuer Construction was able to pour the third lane on the section from Oregon to Pearl despite the foggy, damp conditions.
According to an update posted on Twitter and Facebook by the City of Muscatine, this is the final major pour of phase one of the two-year project with driveways, sidewalks, and some intersection connections yet to be completed.
Drivers are reminded that the area will remain a construction zone throughout the winter shutdown period and caution should be used at all times.
