June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month and the Alzheimer’s Association is encouraging Iowa businesses to “Go Purple” for the entire 30-day duration.
Companies and business-owners alike are encouraged to show their commitment to ending the disease by displaying the Association’s signature color in a number of suggested ways at the workplace including:
- Lighting your office building purple
- Encouraging employees to wear the color purple
- Hosting an Alzheimer’s Association Education Program for employees
- Sharing your purple activities on social media (such as Instagram) by tagging @ALZIOWA and #ENDALZ
