MPD asking for public’s help during investigation into armed robbery incident

The Muscatine Police Department is asking for the public’s help following an armed robbery that occurred Monday evening.

The Muscatine Police Department (MPD) responded at 9:33 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022, to a report of an armed robbery at Pearl City Tobacco and Liquor, 200 Green Street, Muscatine. Witnesses reported that the offender entered the store, displayed a handgun, and left with an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise.

No injuries were reported.
