Rock Valley Physical Therapy offering research study for those struggling with Fibromyalgia


Rock Valley Physical Therapy is one of 28 physical therapy clinics in the Midwest who are part of a research study called the Fibromyalgia Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) in Physical Therapy Study (FM-TIPS).

The goal of the study is to see if Physical Therapy and TENS will decrease pain for individuals with Fibromyalgia. The study involves physical therapy, TENS use at home, and some research homework. Individuals who are part of the study receive payment for research homework, 2 TENS units and supplies.
