Several action items are on the agenda for the Muscatine City Council meeting including awarding the contract for the West Hill Sanitary & Storm Sewer Separation Project Phase 6A and Phase 6B.
The City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Council Chambers at Muscatine City Hall. The public is welcomed, and encouraged, to attend the meeting in person. A virtual option is available for citizens who do not want to attend in-person. Information on joining the virtual session through the GoToMeeting portal is listed below.
The City Council session will also be broadcast live on the City of Muscatine YouTube channel and on Civic-TV (Muscatine Power & Water Cable Channel 2).
Muscatine Mayor Brad Bark will swear William Reddick in to service with the Muscatine Police Department at the start of the regular meeting
The Council will hear the second reading of an ordinance governing the disposal of city owned surplus real property and then approve resolutions scheduling public hearings on the irrigation project at the Muscatine Soccer Complex and entering a State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan agreement in an amount not to exceed $8.5 million for Phases 6-A and 6-B of the West Hill Sewer Separation project. The contract for Phase 6A and 6B of the West Hill Project will be approved later in the meeting.
