A great addition to Halloween traditions to be sponsored by Parks and Recreation – Voice Of Muscatine

A scary good time is planned for this Halloween by the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department who will sponsor a Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, October 28. Children will have the opportunity to gather goodies and show off their costumes under a spook-tacular light show from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on October 28 at the Muscatine Soccer Complex.

Decorated vehicles will be lined up in the Soccer West parking lot on the west side of South Houser Street, and will provide the spirited backdrop to trick or treating that begins at 6:00 p.m. Children are reminded to wear their Halloween costumes and bring their own trick-or-treat bag.

Attendees may park in the Muscatine Soccer Complex main parking lot at 401 South Houser Street or at Kent Stein Park, 2136 Oneida Avenue, which is just a short walk away from all the action.

Trunk decorators are needed!

Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department by phone at (563) 263-0241 or via email at parksoffice@muscatineiowa.gov to reserve a parking space for your trunk.
