All five- and six-year-olds are invited to register for the 2024 Tee-Ball program that will be held this summer in Muscatine. The program is sponsored by the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department.

The Tee-Ball program is designed to teach the fundamentals of baseball/softball through coached practices and non-competitive games that are incorporated into the program. Players all hit from an adjustable batting tee.

Participants must be age five (5) or six (6) by June 1st. All participants will receive a Tee-Ball t-shirt. Practices and games will be conducted at Kent Stein Park.

Registration is now available online through the City of Muscatine website, in person at the Parks and Recreation office in the lower level of City Hall, or by phone at (563) 263-0241.

Participants can register for the Monday/Wednesday session (June 14 – July 7) or the Tuesday/Thursday session (June 15 – July 8). Space is limited in each session, so don’t wait to sign your all-star up for this program. Registration is open through May 31, 2024. There is a $30.00 fee for residents and a $35.00 fee for non-residents.

Adults do not have to miss out on the fun this summer, and can bring America’s Pastime to Muscatine by volunteering to be a head or assistant coach for a Tee-Ball team. Each team will need at least two volunteer coaches. Any adult wishing to volunteer should contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (563) 263-0241 or email at parksoffice@muscatineiowa.gov.
