Justus to assume role as Mulberry Elementary School Principal – Voice Of Muscatine

The Muscatine Community School District proudly announces Amy Justus’s appointment as the new Mulberry Elementary School Principal, effective July 1, 2024.

Mrs. Justus currently serves as the Social Emotional, and Behavioral Health (SEBH) Lead at Susan Clark Junior High School. Prior to that, Mrs. Justus spent sixteen years as a classroom teacher, three years as an instructional coach, and one year as a leadership teacher. During her tenure with the Muscatine Community School District, Mrs. Justus has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a dedication to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for students and staff.

“I am so excited for this incredible opportunity to continue the success at Mulberry Elementary,” said Amy Justus, “I am equally eager to build relationships with staff, students, and families.” 

Mrs. Justus holds a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a K-8 reading endorsement, a Master’s degree with a middle school generalist endorsement, and PK-12 administration licensure.

Her leadership experience, instructional expertise, and commitment to building relationships with students, families, and staff will lead to success at Mulberry.
