Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month this Saturday as Viva Muscatine commences – Voice Of Muscatine

East 2nd Street will be closed between the Cedar and Pine streets from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, for “Viva Muscatine”, a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The intersections with Iowa Avenue and Chestnut Street will be closed to traffic. Pine and Cedar Streets will remain open to traffic.

Detour for the closure will be to use either Mississippi Drive or East 3rd Street between Cedar and Pine streets. Please plan ahead to avoid travel delays.

Viva Muscatine will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Downtown Muscatine. For more information on the event please visit their Facebook page at VivaMuscatine.
