Play on the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course has concluded for the 2024 season but that does not mean you cannot come out to the course and practice on your golf swing for the 2025 season.
The Muscatine Municipal Golf Course officially closed for the 2024 season Sunday, December 1, but the Clubhouse and Pro Shop will be open through the winter months. The Clubhouse will remain open throughout the winter months for event rentals, simulator play, golf lessons, and stocking up on necessities from the Pro Shop.
The Clubhouse is closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays during the winter, open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
Finding that perfect gift for your golf enthusiast is as easy as a tap in putt with the Fall Sale in the Golf Shop continuing through Christmas. Stop by the Pro Shop for all your Christmas shopping, but be sure to call ahead to make sure the Clubhouse is open at 563-263-4735 (inclement weather may keep Clubhouse closed or reduce operating hours).
The Simulator is up and running in the Clubhouse with lessons available all winter long. Saturday morning clinics will be held 8-9 a.m. beginning December 14 at $25 per class or $80 per session. Contact Brian Kuddes (kuddes@muscatineiowa.gov) to sign up today as registration is limited due to space restrictions.
There will be a two-man scramble tournament through the month of December. You can play anytime and play as many times as you want, but scores have to be sub mitted by the end of the day on Monday, December 23. There is a $5 entry fee per attempt and regular rates apply for the simulator rental. Call the Pro Shop to register.
The clubhouse will be closed December 24-25 for Christmas and on December 31 for New Years Eve.
