Through her award-winning collection of short stories, “What It Means When a Man Falls from the Sky,” author Lesley Nneka Arimah grapples with themes such as forgiveness, grief, hope, power, love, and loss. Each story is beautifully unique and will leave you contemplating the complexities of human relationships.
As part of the Global Education Program at the Stanley Center, the community is invited to attend “Inclusive Dialogue: Human Complexity in Storytelling” either in person at the Merrill Hotel in Muscatine or online on Thursday, April 6, 2023.
The event, co-organized by Muscatine Community College and the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine, will include a moderated discussion and Q&A.
In-person attendees can meet the author, get their book signed, and participate in table conversations. This event is appropriate for ages 16 and above, and youth attending online or in person must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is required to attend, and either option is free and open to the public.
