Muscatine McDonald’s offering free meals for first responders, health care workers

McDonald’s restaurants are beginning a “Thank You Meal” program Wednesday, April 22 to honor first responders and health care workers.

Through May 5, those on the front lines just need to show their name on their work badge to receive a free meal, day or night, via carryout or drive-thru, according to Muscatine McDonald’s.

Each meal will be served in the iconic Happy Meal Box with breakfast and daytime options available. At breakfast, individuals can choose from an Egg McMuffin, Chicken McGriddles or Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee and a hash brown.

For lunch and dinner, offerings include a Double Cheeseburger, 6-piece McNuggets or a Filet-O-Fish with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee and small fries.
