The following animals are available for adoption at the Muscatine Humane Society.
Missy
Rat terrier mix
Female
Was a stray. She is a lovely pup. She was found by a family that had kids and other animals. She did well with the kids. She didn’t care for the dogs, so she should meet other animals that may live in the home.
Juice – orange and white
Male/neutered
Domestic shorthair
4-5 years old. Super friendly. Very mellow attitude. Will do good in any home
Desi- brown and black tiger
Male/neutered
16 months old
Desi was a return adoption. He didn’t like little kids.
He will do best in an adult only home.

The Muscatine Humane Society is open Monday & Tuesday from 10 AM – 4 PM, Thursday & Friday from 10 AM – 4 PM, and Saturdays from 10 AM – 2 PM.
Muscatine Humane Society is a non-profit organization and runs on donations from the community. They are in need of the following items:
Paper towels
Trash bags (33 gallon & kitchen)
Mr. Clean
Windex
High efficiency laundry soap
Sponges with scrubby sides
Postage stamps
Copy Paper
Cat and kitten food (Friskies, 9 Lives, Meow Mix, Purina Cat & Kitten of all varieties, Kit ‘n’ Kaboodle, Fancy Fest, Iams. Just to name a few. Please no dollar store or Special Kitty)
Dog Food—All varieties of Purina are accepted. (No Ol’ Roy, Gravy Train or any of the ultra generic foods please)
Guinea Pig Chow
Guinea Pig water bottles
Rabbit Chow
Cockatiel food
Pill pockets by Greenies
Used dog crates
Please no tennis balls, dog toys, bath towels, blankets, cat litter, or milk bones.
